Daniel Osman
Registered Psychotherapist

Qualifying

I hold a Master of Theological Studies in Counselling and Spiritual Care and currently practice as a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying). I am pursuing a PhD in Counselling and Psychological Studies with a specialization in Marriage and Family. In addition to my clinical training, I serve as a Canadian Armed Forces Military Chaplain, which has shaped a deep understanding of resilience, identity, and the inner lives of those who serve under pressure. My approach is relational, grounded, and integrative, and I work with individuals, couples, and families with thoughtful care, clarity, and compassion. Sessions are offered in English.

Who I Work With

I work with adults, couples, and families who are seeking clarity, support, and direction in the midst of life’s challenges. Each person’s story is approached within the context of their relationships, experiences, and personal development.

Where helpful, I coordinate with other care providers to ensure a cohesive and supportive experience that reflects the needs and goals of each client.

My Approach

I take a thoughtful and grounded approach to therapy that is centred on relationship and trust. I believe meaningful change happens when there is space to slow down, reflect, and understand what is happening beneath the surface.

My work draws from a range of therapeutic perspectives, allowing me to support both immediate concerns and deeper, long-term growth. Together, we focus on developing insight, strengthening emotional capacity, and moving toward a more integrated and steady way of living.

Areas of Focus

I support clients in areas such as:

• Stress, overwhelm, and sustained pressure

• Low mood, discouragement, and emotional fatigue

• Questions of identity, purpose, and direction

• Marriage and relationship concerns

• Family dynamics and relational tension

• Life transitions and vocational decisions

•   Grief, loss, and personal change

A Bit About My Journey

My path into this work has been shaped through training in counselling and spiritual care, along with ongoing doctoral studies focused on marriage and family systems. This has given me a deep appreciation for how relationships and life experiences influence emotional wellbeing.

Alongside my clinical work, my role as a Military Chaplain has offered a unique perspective on responsibility, resilience, and the internal demands placed on individuals in high-pressure environments. I bring this understanding into therapy with a steady and attentive presence, seeking to meet each person with care, respect, and insight.
